WORCESTER,
WESTERN CAPE
Gravel Kings Festival, the definitive celebration of off-road power and craftsmanship, returns from 18 to 20 September 2026. This third edition is set to be our biggest yet as we go all out to deliver a high-octane weekend of non-stop action.
Inspired by the rugged spirit of the Dakar and Baja Rally, Gravel Kings Festival is more than just a race, it is a cultural movement. The event showcases the raw power of 4x4s, modified cars and bakkies in head-to-head dirt strip showdowns. It blends elite competition with an immersive lifestyle experience, featuring custom builds, vendor exhibitions, and a community-driven energy unique to the South African petrolhead scene.
Weekend Highlights:
The Main Event: Thrilling head-to-head gravel drags and night-run demos showcasing performance and skill.
Overlanding Hub: A massive exhibitors area dedicated to our overlanding fans, featuring the latest gear, custom builds, and off-road innovations.
Entertainment: Live bands taking the stage on Saturday night to keep the energy high after the dust settles.
Lifestyle & Comfort: A dedicated food court, fan zones, and a fully stocked bar running all weekend.
Limited Driver Spots: Entry slots for competitors are strictly limited to ensure high-quality racing and maximum track time.
With media coverage and an expanded festival footprint, 2026 promises an unmatched spectator experience. Tickets are available exclusively through themerchstore.co.za – Cape Route Rally’s official merch and ticketing website.
